Between the click of the light and the start of a dream.

Happy birthday sistar!  We had a fun night last night waiting for 12 midnight.  We had White Chicks, wine (how pretentious lol!), food and more food, and each other (d’aaw!).

Romance and smallest primates

(I was hungry ok)

I think the other guy figured out that I was kind of taking their picture… heh? #creepercars

I was going for GUUH THIS IS FRAKKEN CUTE I CANNOT CONTAIN IT. But as it goes, my face rarely cooperates with my emotions and it results to that jumble up there.

The Baclayon Church… I thought it was a pretty cool counterpart for what we have in Manila. (Baclaran errlol)

Go ahead, check what my candle stood for! (I think I was mostly kidding, just to mess with my parents but who knows really)

Day 2, part 3

In between me and the sky

Day 2, part 2: The Chocolate Hills were one hell of a sight!  We had to go a couple of rounds up the hill by van, then we climbed something like 5 flights of stairs to the observation deck.  It was worth it though.  After that, we went to this place with zipline… quite the ruuush!! Idk why our hands are poised like that

It was nice, having a little family vacation.  Just us five for the first time in about 6 years.

I found it amusing how this was the first song that came on upon take off.

(In memory of the ring that got away)

Bohol.

Mother’s day started with an early morning mass in Magallanes with my Dad’s side of the family.  It was nice and cool.

We went to Edsa Shangri-la after for breakfast.  It was a dizzying tale of not knowing where to start (ended up with my plate below), what to eat next (there was Japanese, Indian, Filipino, American, IDEK) and what to finish with (Cereals for dessert, lol).

Unlimited. Bacon.

The pillars of our community!  Or something like that.

It was also my grandma’s birthday.

In which I am deceivingly thin.  I also have a crotch and a new camera.  After x (where x > 2) platefuls of food, we went home to rest.  We went to my mom’s side for dinner.

With my Ninang who’s in the US.

With the moms.  Happy Mother’s Day! <3

My dad, being in an extraordinarily nice enough mood, brought us over to MOA for Valentine’s after we heard mass.  He’s been craving for Don Henrico’s for months now, and that’s where we settled to eat.  When we arrived though, the place was filled with smoke for god knows what reason!  Instead, we went to this other place my Dad’s been dying to try, Cafe Mediterranean.

My sister gave up half way through the menu because she couldn’t understand most of what was in it (i.e. Baba Ganoush, Hummus, Couscous).

On the other hand, I felt like I was just in an upscale Ababu, so I ordered a Kabob.

The soup was excellent!  It tasted exactly like Campbell’s ABC soup (only loaded with a shitload of other stuff).

Okay.

We also went to Burger King to eat (three!) Hershey’s Pies.  They dug in before I had a chance to take a picture.

We also had coffee at Krispy Kreme and Dad decided to bring home some donuts!

Needless to say, whatever notion I had of  a “diet” has been ruined today.
