Last Tuesday I had dinner with three of my favorite Katipuneras*. We were celebrating a birthday and someone getting into UP Med by stuffing ourselves with unlimited coffee and cake. (We regretted it. It wasn’t worth it.) I’m so proud of my friends! They’re all graduating and are off to even more schooling. As mentioned, one will go into Med; the other two will be future lawyers.
I will be waving them off like a proud momma. Or something.
*Highschool friends studying along Katipunan (i.e. Ateneo and UP)

When you come crawling out of the dark, do you have someplace to go?

(Yes.)

We don’t have the luxury of seeing each other any time we want (well, they’re almost-neighbors so..) between college and distance and other people But we make it a point to catch up sometime in between. We met up in Serenitea BF then had dinner in Bigger Better Burgers, went to Ruins and walked along Presidents (partly because someone was broke, but mostly because we wanted the time). On the way, we saw a Korean mart and just had to go in. We shared a fish ice cream and more stories. It was a great time underneath the South sky with the comfort of memories and friendship.
- Was actually game enough to get out of the house yesterday
- Met up with @nikkidia to go to UP where we met up with a couple more friends
- Went to my friend’s EP launch in Freedom Bar, also the first time we saw him playing live woooh
- Got home at around 4, didn’t get to go to Banchetto :[

I really wasn’t up for taking pictures last night. This was the most decent photo of my friend’s band, IndayBote. So yup, congratulations you!

Pretty album art :D
Friday nights and friends
The afternoon that brought us together..
Some guys (or, more accurately, five people) took away my virginity last Thursday. Sleepover virginity, that is! I am not proud that I lost it at the sorry age of 19 but, better late than never right? It was a hell of an adventure! First started with some misunderstanding re: meet-up place! And then it was a one hour something ride to Cavite.
When we arrived, they had food prepared with nice table setting and all! (My friends are geeks.)

The only guy in the group, Neill aka Surfer Dude.

Pillow five! (The two of them were sort of tipsy at this point)

A decent-ish picture of myself.

My girls Jaque (driving the car), Nikki, Nelly, Drea and Axis! After much deliberation on where to go (we wanted Tagaytay but figured we were all broke), we decided on Taft.

Where we had SEx. I didn’t order tapa this time, though. First time Pares-eater!

Then we went to Cello’s to meet up with Chana (there’s an inside joke somewhere in there).

The End.
(Lack of pictures due to non-cooperative camera..)
The gurl with the awesome slumbook
It was my friend’s birthday today. He was feeling particularly generous (he usually isn’t, lol) so he brought us over to LB for shakes and siomai.

Ria and Agi (@aagiaa) with the the shake that resembles something else.

The addition of Jas and Redge

Jan was feeling exceptionally unique and ordered halo-halo instead.

Redge arrived with the shake that resembled something else more.

Andee busy devouring the siomai.

Me being all pakyot and Japanese (not really).

The birthday boy raped of all his money (Naah, this guy is rich and kuripot)! Happy birthday, Enzo! :) You visit my Tumblr sometimes so I hope you get to read this.

Mhmm
My mom wants to meet my UP friends. She says before she can permit me to go out as far as EK or something, she has to meet them. The thing is, they all live up north (i.e. Fairview, Nova, or dorm). I really cannot see it working out, inviting them all the way down to Parañaque. I feel like they’ll be hassled too much. I don’t know.
Reasons why I am never gonna/cannot/would not be a TUGS TUGS TUGS sorta girl:
- Music
- Randomly standing and dancing to the music
- The lights
- Music
- Weird people interaction (Like, yesterday, a group of guys was eyeing a group of girls and they almost literally pounced on them)
- Cannot hear my friends talk
- Or maybe I’m just a killjoy
